Mission Team commissioning service this Sunday night with a concert by Crimson River 6 PM

·       The mission team is now up to 21      

·        The portable classrooms are due to arrive soon

·        We are asking all men to wear pink shirts on Father’s Day

·        Praise the Lord Jonathan Windle is going on staff at a church in West Virginia, pray for Aaron Seay as he seeks God’s direction

·        The land debt pay off is now at about $86,000

·        The Alleghany High School Baccalaureate service is at Faith this year and Chris Chesley is speaking, Howard Merrell is speaking for Covington High School

·        Summer will be in full swing soon pray for all the planned activities: VBS, Teenweek, Grace Bible Camp, special concerts

Next Week we will be moving our Wednesday Service to Thursday night, 7 PM, at the Covington Bible Church on South Carpenter Drive for a special concert by the Ambassadors from the Rio Grande Bible Institute.

It's that time of the year, the joy of finishing school and moving on to bigger and better things. Congratulations to all of our graduates and don't forget your special day in June.  We would like to recognize all of you on Sunday morning June 6.

This Sunday I will speaking in the morning services from the book of Jeremiah.  The Tension is the message and I am dealing with the tension in the Christian life between what we do and what God does as we try to live out this high calling.

 

Harry Newman has been out of the speaking rotation because of tax season but he will be back this Sunday night at 6 PM
